In this tutorial I discussed my practice & I showed Mark the work I had done on the rough cut video.
He considered the animation comical but with a serious message. I thought it similar in style to the old BBC Vision On style or “Protect and Survive” public information animation. I agree saying I quite like the evidently home made feel. I am trying to maintain it for a made by diabetic for diabetic feel. The thought that a voice over might bridge the comic and serious series side of the work.
He suggested I could do certain aspects of it digitally. I also spoke my thoughts about making the animation part of an installation which he thought was unnecessary if the animation was done well.
