8.00 am meeting in a London teaching hospital – I haven’t been to one of these for while & I haven’t been to one aimed at patients.

Tim Hunt Education Services Manager from Patient Opinion Limited (www.patientopinion.org.uk) spokes about how their company is “the UK’s leading independent non-profit feedback platform for health services. Patient Opinion is about honest and meaningful conversations between patients and health services. We believe that your story can help make health services better”.

So far as I can see it way for patients to feedback to the UK health services. It works as Patient Opinion Limited describes by:

1. Share your story of using a health service

2. We send your story to staff so that they can learn from it

3. You might get a response.

4. Your story might help staff to change services

The most interesting angle for me is Patient Opinion Limited offers service users the opportunity to draw a response.  I speak to Tim after the meeting & later receive an email about discussing potential collaborations, particularly on the diabetes side of their work.
